My area of research is in Envirodevonomics, an emerging field that is an intersection between environmental and development economics. I am passionate about data and the less explored geospatial datasets.
Hi, I'm an economist working on central bank communication, climate finance, economic history, and financial stability. I received degrees in economics from the University of Groningen (Dr 2006, MSc 2002) and a degree in history from Utrecht University (BA 2011). My publications include articles in Economic Policy, the Journal of Economic Literature, the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, and the Review of Finance.
